I am an anesthesiologist who graduated in Colombia in 2014. My primary interest is to gain research skills and comprehend the molecular and initial changes underlying neuroinflammation and chronic pain. I am particularly keen on understanding the intricate interactions between ALDH2 (ALDH2*2) mutations within the context of immunity and its impact on peripheral and central sensitization, to eventually contribute to the development of novel analgesics.
