Lucillia Bezu, MD, PhD0

Holder of an M.D. and a Ph.D., Dr. Lucillia Bezu is a French anesthesiologist and intensivist with a mixed exercise as a clinician and researcher at the oncological hospital Gustave Roussy (France). Her research focuses on the immune properties of anesthetics and their clinical impact after cancer surgery. Her preliminary work demonstrated that local anesthetics induced a direct cytotoxic effect and an indirect antitumor immune response. She joined the Eric Gross Laboratory in late 2023 to improve her knowledge on the pathophysiology of surgical inflammatory pain.
