Mekdelawit Awoke

Mekdelawit is a Research Intern working on projects that investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms of acute and chronic pain. She is a Smoke and Vape Free Scholar at Ohlone College, passionate about health equity and advocacy, and hopes to translate her work into effective advocacy for the Bay Area community she grew up in.
