Shayla Nguyen

I support research in the Gross Lab on how genetic variants in ALDH2 may influence cell signaling and disease risk. Using HEK293 cell models, I explore these mechanisms through NF-κB luciferase reporter assays and immunofluorescence imaging. I’m excited to continue learning about the molecular pathways underlying cellular stress response and regeneration.
