Even though I am pursuing a major in Physics and Environmental Science, the research into the chemical composition of e-cigarettes and their accompanied flavorings has been of high interest and importance to me. Particularly, I am interested in looking into the effects of flavorings and pesticides inside e-cigarettes. The ALDH2 variant specifically affects a significant group of people, and therefore, is an essential group to study when looking at the short-term and long-term effects of e-cigarette use.
